Visitation took place on Tuesday, September 20th, from 10:00 a.m. Monique LaFrance, John's health teams in Cape Breton Regional Hospital and Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital for their kind care of John and their guidance to us. Our family would like to say thank you to Dr. John always looked forward to his daily visits from his good friend Bradley, where they would have long chats over a nice cold beer. John was a home body who loved to sit back and enjoy a good show on TV with his main side kick Daisy. He is also remembered by his nieces and nephews, Patricia (Dave), Makayla (James), Leah, Mark (Erin) and Andrew grandnephews, Drew, Levi, Tucker and Kayson. (Sue), Harbourview, and Barbara (Joey), Harbourview. ![]() He is survived by his family, his cat, Daisy siblings, Donnie (Marilyn), Inverness Basil T. John was born on September 27th, 1955, and was a son of the late Donald and Theresa (MacDonald) MacLean. ![]() ![]() John Elmer MacLean, age 66, of Port Hood, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 15th, 2022, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. ![]()
